More to love from Painted Earth – from eyes to lips By Beauty Info Zone

More to love from Painted Earth – from eyes to lips March 28, 2013 Painted Earth is a cosmetic brand that states in its name what it’s all about. The products are natural (earth) and they can be colorful (painted) at the same time. Painted Earth is a brand that has nicely sent Beauty Info Zone several products to review and share with you. So far we’ve reviewed their terrific Hint of Mint Baby glosses and two different powders that we enjoy using. When they offered to send products for the eyes I jumped on that instantly. Painted Earth carries quite a few formulas of eyeshadow and the one I’ve been wearing is from their Baked Minerals collection called Eye Fusion. There are 5 possible combinations of Eye Fusion shadows ($23). I have Pink Fusion which is a combination of a beautiful rose and a lavender shade. The veining differs from one to another. You can wear these shadows wet or dry. I prefer using this dry and I usually end up with a very pretty pink with some purple that tones it down. I like wearing Pink Fusion on my lower lid with a dark purple in the crease. The eyeshadow contains soothing green tea extract, jojoba seed oil and vitamin e for antioxidant properties so it doesn’t just look good, it’s good for your eyes. Painted Earth Eye Fusion in Pink Fusion Painted Earth Eye Fusion in Pink Fusion I’ve also been using Painted Earth’s LashLux Mascara ($19.50). This mascara reminds me a lot of the much more expensive Le Metier de Beaute’ mascara. The packaging and the texture are very similar. The LashLux has a rubber brush which is best for length and definition. I personally don’t get volume with LashLux but I do get great separation and definition. It’s an extremely dark black mascara that doesn’t smudge or flake on me. I find the texture to be on the heavy side so I do several light coats of the mascara rather than any heavy ones since I don’t want it to weigh my lashes down. I’m crazy about their SuperWear Gel Liner pencil ($18.50). I’ve bought gel eyeliner pencils from much more expensive brands and was never that impressed. But Painted Earth changed my mind. This pencil glides on like a gel liner but is easier to use. I have Noir and the color is a rich dark black. It’s so smooth that I can’t get over it. It’s absolutely glides on. It comes in 5 shades (Noir black, Baroque golden with a green under tone with specks of subtle shimmer, Mystic grey with undertones of blue and specks of subtle shimmer, Sienna dark brown and Florentine which appears to be a reddish brown). The wear I get with this pencil is amazing and it makes me want all the shades. It contains vitamin e and jojoba oil to help give a soft and smooth application. It stays on until I want it to come off. They are only $3 each and come in the best flavors. These are similar to a chapstick type product; they don’t add color but they add great moisturizing to your lips. Look at these yummy flavors: Amaretto (L.E.), Cucumber Melon (their best seller), Dill Pickle (L.E.), Mango, Natural Vanilla, Pina Colada, Pizza (L.E.), Red Delicious Apple (L.E.), and Sugared Strawberry. I don’t know if I want pizza or dill pickle flavored lip balms but I do know that the Pina Colada, Juicy Peach (a yummy L.E. that’s gone) and Amaretto are terrific. I love that they call these Lips Stuff. Painted Earth Natural Lip Balm Painted Earth Natural Lip Balm Juicy Peach Juicy Peach Painted Earth has the type of website that you can get lost in. There are so many amazing products that are all pure, natural, organic, non-animal tested and safe that you’ll go nuts examining the site. Their products are produced in the US so you can be proud of buying American. They always have free shipping (YEA!!!) plus they have a Deal of the Day (and sometimes several) that are some of their best sellers. Their tagline is Cosmetics from Nature and I think that says it all. — Marcia *products sent for review consideration
