Baby Come Back Age Defying Creme by Painted Earth

Baby
I’m going to sound like a broken record here but, growing older is NOT for sissies!! I don’t like these bags, sags, spots, dots and wrinkles!! I do NOT like them here or there, I do not like them anywhere! I do not like them at ALL!!! I saved my review of Baby Come Back Age Defying Creme as my final review from Painted Earth because you always save the best for last right??
This little jar packs a powerful punch!! Just like all of Painted Earth’s wonderful products, this one is all natural and organic. Baby Come Back uses a deep penetrating fruit based Alpha Hydroxy. This one battles all the signs of aging!! I swear I can feel my skin tightening when I apply it. My skin feels toned and tight. My pores appear smaller.
After I apply Baby Come Back my skin doesn’t have that greasy or oily look. My skin looks brighter! Healthier! WITHOUT that shine!! Baby Come Back actually leaves my skin with a matte finish. I don’t even need to add foundation! I add a little blush, a little lip color and I’m out the door.
I’ve been using Baby Come Back for over a month and my fine lines are disappearing. My age spots are diminishing. I couldn’t be more thrilled!! AND Baby Come Back won’t break the bank!! $43 and this jar will easily last me another 2 months, maybe 3. A little goes a LONG way!!
Ohhhh did I mention my neck? Ohhh YEA!! Baby Come Back is helping with that crepe-y neck thing too. I’ve seen a huge difference on my neck! (SEE??? Aging…. not for sissies!!)
My skin feels so smooth!! This is an amazing cream that will help repair, resurface, regenerate, and renew skin from the first application. Truly isn’t that what we all want?? Unless you’re 20′something. Then as I’ve been saying for years…… WEAR YOUR SUNSCREEN!!! Or you’ll be fighting these same battles when you’re in your 50′s!
This Complete Age-Defying Creme helps:
1. Increase skin’s hydration/moisture balance
2. Increase skin skin’s barrier function
3. reduce pigmentation
4. increase skin firmness and elasticity
5. reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
6. decrease pore size
7. reduce skin redness
I give Baby Come Back 2 very happy, enthusiastic thumbs wayyyyy UP!!!  If you haven’t checked out the amazing products at Painted Earth Skin Care, you should!! Skincare, make up, hair care and so much more! If you are doing gift baskets for the holidays, putting Painted Earth products inside would make anyone feel very special!!

Painted Earth Skin Care

Painted Earth Skin Care

When I was asked to review products from Painted Earth Skin Care, I was so honored for the opportunity! I love using natural and organic skin care and makeup products because they are gentle on my sensitive skin. I received a wide array of products from Painted Earth Skin Care to review in exchange for my honest opinion.

I received the following from Painted Earth Skin Care: Vitamin C Face Lotion, Vitamin C Eye Gel, Vitamin C Serum, Lite Sugar Scrub, Boo-Boo Gel, Baked Minerals Mona Lisa Eyes, Mint Baby Doll lip gloss, LashLuxe mascara, and SuperWear Gel Liner.
When I first visited their website, I was browsing through their products and made a mental list of the products I would love to try. When my package arrived, I had no idea what to expect and I was very impressed with the selection. I quickly noticed that all of the products I was interested in trying were included in the box.
The first product I tried was the sugar scrub. I was in need of a good facial scrub, so I was very excited to use it. I like to apply facial scrubs right before my shower, that way I can easily rinse my face in the shower without making a mess at the sink. I then used the serum, lotion and eye gel to complete my skin care regime. I noticed a difference the next morning. My face was soft and smooth. My makeup brushed on easily and effortlessly too. I use the scrub at least three times a week and I use the serum, moisturizer and eye gel every evening. The products are gentle on my skin and do not cause any irritation.
I use the Boo-Boo Gel whenever I have breakouts and on my bruises. I am accident prone, so I get a lot of bruises. The Boo-Boo Gel helps heal and soothe my bruises quickly and I feel less pain.
I was not sure what to expect with the baked eye shadows or if the colors would work with my skin tone. I was blown away by the results. The eye shadow compact is no different from my mineral makeup eye shadow powers. The colors are vibrant and last all day. The colors worked perfectly with my skin tone. They were perfect color and tone.
The LashLuxe mascara is such a treat! First, the brush is flexible and moves with your lashes, instead of the other way around. I love the flexible brush because the mascara was easier to apply on my eyelashes. I have full control of the mascara wand and the brush bends with my movements.
The SuperWear Gel Liner is nice and bold. I like a subtle look on my eyes. I applied it with light dotting along my lash line and then blended with a brush. The gel liner lasts all day with no smudging or fading.
I love having color on my lips, but I really do not like the feel of lipstick on my lips. I do not really wear lip gloss either, unless I want to add a little shimmer or shine. I received Mint Baby Doll lip gloss and I noticed right away the light mint scent! I love the shine on my lips. The lip gloss feels great without the sticky feeling.

Boo Boo Gel

Skin Care Review: Painted Earth Boo Boo Gel

Skin Care Review: Painted Earth Boo Boo Gel

By  beauty delicacy

So I love the name of this product. It’s the same as the nickname I’ve had for my youngest since he could make funny faces at me, boo boo. Anyway I consider this to be a little miracle gel for my skin because it pretty much takes care of everything! Blemishes, breakouts, large pores + oily spots all cease to exist when I’m using this gel. I even went “off it” for a few days just to see if it was really making such a dramatic difference. And I’m right back on it!
painted earth ig photo
Taken from my Instagram: A bag of goodies sent over from Painted Earth I was super giddy opening this up…wasn’t expecting all the extra stuff.
My skin history {for the new readers}: My skin is basically a split personality of oily + dry spots. Without the proper balance {inside + out} I’m pretty much a mess. Using products high in parabens + other harmful ingredients just has me reaching for more products to fix the problems created by the other stuff.  So I made a deal with my skin + my brain to be smart enough to check labels before I decide to try something.

One of the key ingredients in this gel is organic aloe which is one of nature’s go-to plants for everything from internal health {think aloe juice} to treating sun burn. And a little goes a long way. The other thing I love about this gel is that it isn’t just for the face. It can be used just about anywhere to heal almost anything. But what I was really most stunned about were my pores. They became pretty much invisible especially in my oily areas.

Some of the other products they sent were also pretty amazing. From the left: vitamin C serum; moisture treatment for sensitive/acne skin; vitamin C face lotion + baby hint of mint lip gloss in mint victorian charm.
I’d need another blog post to talk about these 4 but I will say that I will be springing for the serum + another gloss soon. My skin really loves this serum + it absorbs well without leaving any shine. And the gloss gives great color + moisturizes.

So because I’ve been trying out a new scrub I haven’t gotten to these two yet but I have no doubt they are amazing.  And when I do I’ll post a review.
All of these products can be found on the Painted Earth Skin Care site. You can also purchase a trial size of the Boo Boo Gel for $5.

Painted Earth’s Vitamin C Eye Gel Is My New Favorite Daytime Eye Quencher

By Sheila Arkee
At age 34, it’s safe to say that I’m fully out of Spring Chicken-ville. Even though I feel pretty much the same way I did in my 20′s, there are those inevitable tell-tale signs that I have to take care of my skin differently than in my younger years. Take my eyes, for example, which need the comfort of a good moisturizer at all times to help keep them looking their non-wrinkly best.  One soothing gel I’ve been using for the past few months is Painted Earth Skin Care’s Vitamin C Eye Gel.
DSC_1770
Oil-free and non-sticky, this soothing and lightweight gel sinks right into my skin. I am impressed by the performance of this antioxidant-rich lid saver. While you can use it day or night, I prefer it during the day, used under my eyeshadows.
DSC_1777
Besides making your eyes feel great, this gel is a concentrated delivery system for the highest form of active, bio-available Vitamin C. A dab’ll do ya, and a pea-sized amount is more than enough for both eyes. The full-sized bottle retails for $32.50 and will last a long time. A sample-sized bottle is also available for $8.
The ingredients include the following:
Ingredients: Organic Herbal Infusion, Organic Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (Aloe Vera), Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C), Organic Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba Oil), Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber Distillate), Silk Protein Amino Acid Blend (Sodium L-Pyrrolidone Carboxylate, Sodium Lactate, L’Arginine, L-Aspartic Acid, L-Pyrrolidonecarboxylic Acid, Glycine, L-Alanine, L-Serine, L-Valine, L-Proline, L-threonine, L-Isoleucine, L-Histidine, L-Phenylalanine), Hyaluronic Acid, Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), Carbomer, (2s)-2-Amino-5-guanidinopentanoic Acid, Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A), Tocopheryl (Vitamin E), Organic Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice), Organic Vinca Major (Periwinkle), Ethylhexyl Glycerin, Phenoxyethanol. 5% vitamin C

Foundation That’s Good For Your Face! Painted Earth Luminous Coconut Oil Mineral Foundation

By Sheila Arkee
Several years ago I was on a first name basis with coconut oil. I’d heard it was good for jumpstarting the metabolism, so I placed a dollop of coconut oil  in my morning coffee for a period of several months. It didn’t seem to work for me so well, but I’ve kept some coconut oil around ever since, using it as a moisturizer and hair treatment. It’s good stuff, and now it’s in my life again as the key ingredient in Painted Earth’s brand new pressed mineral foundation, aptly named Luminous Coconut Oil Mineral Foundation.
Called “a foundation that’s good for you,” Luminous Coconut Oil Mineral Foundaition  is paraben-, dye-, talc-, and cruelty-free and suitable for all skin types. Coconut oil works its magic and adds moisturization that won’t clog your pores.
In comparison to other powder foundations, I’d say this is right along the lines of Milani’s Even Touch Powder foundation in terms of coverage, but not as intense as Make Up For Ever’s Pro Finish, and not not as powdery as MAC’s Studio Fix.
Besides coconut oil, this foundation is infused with Squalane, Fractioned Coconut oil, Grapefruit Extract , Thyme extract, Cinnamon bark extract, Rosemary leaf extract, and Lavender flower extract.
The compact doesn’t include a sponge, so I apply it with a kabuki brush for an even finish.  This photo is the foundation on it’s own, and it’s what I’d describe as lightweight and buildable coverage. For extra coverage, I’d suggest layering the powder foundation with a bit of a tinted moisturizer or a BB Cream. I found that with an additional blotting powder involved, the wear of this foundation is impressive and will stay on your face and not the rest of your person.
The verdict? While you won’t get a full-coverage finish with Painted Earth Luminous Coconut Oil Mineral Foundation, you’ll find a great, lightweight & buildable foundation with beneficial ingredients that will keep your skin in check. This foundation comes in 5 shades and can be found online at Painted Earth’s website, where it retails for $39.50.

My Lips Feel Like They’re On Vacation With Painted Earth Skincare Transforming Lipstick

By Sheila Arkee
Hello, there. It’s me, Sheila, checking in from Summer Vacation Base Camp. We are 3 weeks away from the start of the school year and all I can say is that I am ready for a back-to-school vacation for parents if such a thing were to exist. Which it totally should.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned about my cute and adorable child during this Summer break, it’s that this boy needs structure in his life all of the time. This kid misses his classroom! Like so many parents out there, I am ready for the school show to get back on the road. This is why I am finding myself seeking my favorite indulgences of the beauty variety. My top choice of late is Painted Earth Skincare’s Transforming Lipstick in Brazilian Bare, the neutral lipstick of my dreams!

Hello, gorgeous lipstick!
I am feeling such love for this gorgeous pink/creamy tan lipstick that boasts a fantastic formula.
With ingredients designed to smooth and soften, Painted Earth Transforming Lipsticks are really something to write home about. While I wouldn’t call it a long-wearing lip product, I can get a long stretch of wear out of this lipstick that doesn’t fade and offers opaque covearge.
My Final Thoughts: Painted Earth Skincare is one of thoffers a line of excellent skin care and cosmetics products. The formula of the Transforming Lipstick is soft, silky, and leaves my lips feeling well-moisturized.

Take care of your boo-boo’s with Painted Earth Boo Boo Gel

One of our new favorite lines at the BIZ is Painted Earth.  They have wonderful products ranging from haircare to makeup to skin care. I was intrigued when they sent Boo Boo Gel ($25 for 2 oz/60 ml) for us to try – it’s one of their best sellers and they have a tough time even keeping it in stock.

Painted Earth knows eyes – review and giveaway  by Beauty Info Zone

When the owner sent these for review she chose a few colors for me to try out. Surprisingly one was a light yellow named Yellow Diamond. That’s not a shade that most owners would use to represent their line but I shouldn’t have been surprised. She knew what a winner this shade would be. It’s my favorite of all the shadows she sent me so forgive me if I gush about it more. This yellow is so subtle yet it brightens my eyes beautifully. It has a soft shimmer that’s barely discernible yet it’s enough to give this an ethereal quality. It’s an eyeshadow I think should be in everyone’s collection – you’d be surprised how versatile and important it has become for me.

MsTrueHappiness - Painted Earth Luminous Coconut Oil Powder Foundation

More to love from Painted Earth – from eyes to lips By Beauty Info Zone

More to love from Painted Earth – from eyes to lips March 28, 2013 Painted Earth is a cosmetic brand that states in its name what it’s all about. The products are natural (earth) and they can be colorful (painted) at the same time. Painted Earth is a brand that has nicely sent Beauty Info Zone several products to review and share with you. So far we’ve reviewed their terrific Hint of Mint Baby glosses and two different powders that we enjoy using. When they offered to send products for the eyes I jumped on that instantly. Painted Earth carries quite a few formulas of eyeshadow and the one I’ve been wearing is from their Baked Minerals collection called Eye Fusion. There are 5 possible combinations of Eye Fusion shadows ($23). I have Pink Fusion which is a combination of a beautiful rose and a lavender shade. Painted Earth Eye Fusion in Pink Fusion Painted Earth Eye Fusion in Pink Fusion Painted Earth Eye Fusion in Pink Fusion Painted Earth Eye Fusion in Pink Fusion Because these are baked on a terra cotta disk no two shadows are going to be exactly the same. The veining differs from one to another. You can wear these shadows wet or dry. I prefer using this dry and I usually end up with a very pretty pink with some purple that tones it down. I like wearing Pink Fusion on my lower lid with a dark purple in the crease. The eyeshadow contains soothing green tea extract, jojoba seed oil and vitamin e for antioxidant properties so it doesn’t just look good, it’s good for your eyes. Painted Earth Eye Fusion in Pink Fusion Painted Earth Eye Fusion in Pink Fusion I’ve also been using Painted Earth’s LashLux Mascara ($19.50). This mascara reminds me a lot of the much more expensive Le Metier de Beaute’ mascara. The packaging and the texture are very similar. The LashLux has a rubber brush which is best for length and definition. I personally don’t get volume with LashLux but I do get great separation and definition. It’s an extremely dark black mascara that doesn’t smudge or flake on me. I find the texture to be on the heavy side so I do several light coats of the mascara rather than any heavy ones since I don’t want it to weigh my lashes down. Painted Earth Lash Luxe mascara Painted Earth Lash Lux mascara Painted Earth rubber brush Painted Earth rubber brush I saved the best eye product for last. I’m crazy about their SuperWear Gel Liner pencil ($18.50). I’ve bought gel eyeliner pencils from much more expensive brands and was never that impressed. But Painted Earth changed my mind. This pencil glides on like a gel liner but is easier to use. I have Noir and the color is a rich dark black. It’s so smooth that I can’t get over it. It’s absolutely glides on. It comes in 5 shades (Noir black, Baroque golden with a green under tone with specks of subtle shimmer, Mystic grey with undertones of blue and specks of subtle shimmer, Sienna dark brown and Florentine which appears to be a reddish brown). The wear I get with this pencil is amazing and it makes me want all the shades. It contains vitamin e and jojoba oil to help give a soft and smooth application. It stays on until I want it to come off. Super Wear Gel Liner Super Wear Gel Liner Super Wear Gel Liner Super Wear Gel Liner Noir smudged on top, regular line bottom Noir smudged on top, regular line bottom Wearing Painted Earth products reviewed plus a dark purple eyeshadow Wearing Painted Earth products reviewed plus a dark purple eyeshadow While you are on the Painted Earth website you need to check out their great lip balms. They are only $3 each and come in the best flavors. These are similar to a chapstick type product; they don’t add color but they add great moisturizing to your lips. Look at these yummy flavors: Amaretto (L.E.), Cucumber Melon (their best seller), Dill Pickle (L.E.), Mango, Natural Vanilla, Pina Colada, Pizza (L.E.), Red Delicious Apple (L.E.), and Sugared Strawberry. I don’t know if I want pizza or dill pickle flavored lip balms but I do know that the Pina Colada, Juicy Peach (a yummy L.E. that’s gone) and Amaretto are terrific. I love that they call these Lips Stuff. Painted Earth Natural Lip Balm Painted Earth Natural Lip Balm Juicy Peach Juicy Peach Painted Earth has the type of website that you can get lost in. There are so many amazing products that are all pure, natural, organic, non-animal tested and safe that you’ll go nuts examining the site. Their products are produced in the US so you can be proud of buying American. They always have free shipping (YEA!!!) plus they have a Deal of the Day (and sometimes several) that are some of their best sellers. Their tagline is Cosmetics from Nature and I think that says it all. — Marcia *products sent for review consideration
