A trip through the Painted Earth cosmetics gardens

by Marcia Of Beauty Info Zone

Today I’d like to take you for a stroll around part of Painted Earth. Beauty Info Zone became acquainted with Painted Earth exactly one year ago when the sweet owner sent us some products to review. We’ve since been lucky enough to enjoy an excellent variety of products from Painted Earth. Today we’re taking a stroll through memory lane and adding some products that will make new memories for us via Painted Earth.
Here’s just a little that we love about Painted Earth – they are organic and use natural ingredients; they are cruelty free; they have fast free shipping on all orders and I’ve always gotten samples in my purchases.
The first product you see in my collage is a Super Wear Gel Liner pencil because that’s the product that really made me get the most excited about the Painted Earth line. I received a few shades and since then I’ve bought all the rest plus backups of Baroque. These pencils changed my mind about pencil eyeliners and opened my eyes to how far pencils have come since I first started wearing them. I love all the shades but if I had to narrow it down it would be for Noir and Baroque.
LashLuxe mascara is a great natural mascara that gives me definition and extra lengthening.

Painted Earth carries a big variety of eyeshadows. My personal favorites are the High Pigment Mineral Eye Shadow Pans that are sold for $6.50. I bought Olive Shimmer not long ago and the pigmentation is amazing.

Another favorite is Yellow Diamond Mineral Eyeshadow in the compact. That one is a great eye brightener!

If you love baked eyeshadows then look no farther than Painted Earth for their Eye Fusion and Baked Mineral shadows.
Painted Earth Magic Powder

There are two powders that we often rave about from Painted Earth. I’ve written about Silk Radiance High Lite Powder several times because it gives me just enough luminosity to make me glow without being a glitter bomb. But the powder that really needs the raves is the Magic Powder that Lisa reviewed. She is still raving about after all this time. No one loves powder like Lisa. She is the powder expert of the BIZ so when she raves about Magic Powder I know it’s something special, or should I say magical??

For lips I can easily recommend Luxury Lipstick. I just have one so far and it’s the perfect 2014 color – Orchid! This smooth and moisturizing lipstick is amazing. It contains “Shea Butter, Illipe Butter and Hyaluronic Acid condition while Vitamin A, C, E, Avocado and Jojoba Oils moisturize, soothe and protect”. I can’t wait to explore more of these.
Painted Earth New Phase Anti-Aging Lip Balm

One of the newer products from Painted Earth is the New Phase Anti-Aging Natural Lip Balm. This is a lip balm in a tin container. Not my favorite packaging but the product inside wouldn’t work any other way. Anti-Aging Lip Balm is more of a treatment than their regular lip balm. It helps with plumping, it helps with hydration and it helps with collagen production. It is worth me dipping my finger into this pan. It has a light caramel fragrance which is perfect for me. There’s no stinging with this lip plumping balm. I wear it alone or I’ll wear it under a lipstick.

Speaking of lips, there’s the Hint of Mint glosses. These were my first introduction to Painted Earth. Cute little glosses in a nice variety of shades that are only $6.50.

Painted Earth Sedona Sunless Tanner

One last (but not least) product that Lisa tried in the cosmetic gardens of Painted Earth is the Sedona Sun Sunless Tanner ($18.29). When I asked her about it here’s what she told me to share: “the Sedona Sun Sunless Tanner gives you a warm, light tan without having to worry about sun damage.  It has excellent ingredients that skin loves such as Aloe, Sunflower, Vitamins E and B-5.  Besides giving skin a light tan, it also leaves skin super soft and hydrated. Best of all, it gives that golden color without any streaking and it doesn’t stain clothing.”
Next time around I’ll take you through the bigger skincare gardens of Painted Earth so that you can get a feel for this “Cosmetics from Nature” brand. — Marcia

Take care of your boo-boo’s with Painted Earth Boo Boo Gel

One of our new favorite lines at the BIZ is Painted Earth.  They have wonderful products ranging from haircare to makeup to skin care. I was intrigued when they sent Boo Boo Gel ($25 for 2 oz/60 ml) for us to try – it’s one of their best sellers and they have a tough time even keeping it in stock.

So what kind of Boo-Boos does it work on? Pretty much everything. It’s for acne, minor cuts, bruises, bug bites, sunburn, rashes…just about anything skin related. It even reduces the appearance of pores!

I find this works well for triage and it’s also great as a preventative treatment. Smooth it on daily for blemish free skin. Then grab it when you need it for burns, bites, and small cuts. It’s full of great ingredients that calm and heal the skin.

It’s a really interesting consistency, almost like gelatin, which makes this a fun, unique product that my whole family is constantly asking for. And even better, Boo Boo Gel is all natural and organic. Get some while they have it in stock – it’s a great multi-tasker that you are going to love.  - Lisa

Painted Earth knows eyes – review and giveaway  by Beauty Info Zone

When the owner sent these for review she chose a few colors for me to try out. Surprisingly one was a light yellow named Yellow Diamond. That’s not a shade that most owners would use to represent their line but I shouldn’t have been surprised. She knew what a winner this shade would be. It’s my favorite of all the shadows she sent me so forgive me if I gush about it more. This yellow is so subtle yet it brightens my eyes beautifully. It has a soft shimmer that’s barely discernible yet it’s enough to give this an ethereal quality. It’s an eyeshadow I think should be in everyone’s collection – you’d be surprised how versatile and important it has become for me.

More to love from Painted Earth – from eyes to lips By Beauty Info Zone

More to love from Painted Earth – from eyes to lips March 28, 2013 Painted Earth is a cosmetic brand that states in its name what it’s all about. The products are natural (earth) and they can be colorful (painted) at the same time. Painted Earth is a brand that has nicely sent Beauty Info Zone several products to review and share with you. So far we’ve reviewed their terrific Hint of Mint Baby glosses and two different powders that we enjoy using. When they offered to send products for the eyes I jumped on that instantly. Painted Earth carries quite a few formulas of eyeshadow and the one I’ve been wearing is from their Baked Minerals collection called Eye Fusion. There are 5 possible combinations of Eye Fusion shadows ($23). I have Pink Fusion which is a combination of a beautiful rose and a lavender shade. Painted Earth Eye Fusion in Pink Fusion Painted Earth Eye Fusion in Pink Fusion Painted Earth Eye Fusion in Pink Fusion Painted Earth Eye Fusion in Pink Fusion Because these are baked on a terra cotta disk no two shadows are going to be exactly the same. The veining differs from one to another. You can wear these shadows wet or dry. I prefer using this dry and I usually end up with a very pretty pink with some purple that tones it down. I like wearing Pink Fusion on my lower lid with a dark purple in the crease. The eyeshadow contains soothing green tea extract, jojoba seed oil and vitamin e for antioxidant properties so it doesn’t just look good, it’s good for your eyes. Painted Earth Eye Fusion in Pink Fusion Painted Earth Eye Fusion in Pink Fusion I’ve also been using Painted Earth’s LashLux Mascara ($19.50). This mascara reminds me a lot of the much more expensive Le Metier de Beaute’ mascara. The packaging and the texture are very similar. The LashLux has a rubber brush which is best for length and definition. I personally don’t get volume with LashLux but I do get great separation and definition. It’s an extremely dark black mascara that doesn’t smudge or flake on me. I find the texture to be on the heavy side so I do several light coats of the mascara rather than any heavy ones since I don’t want it to weigh my lashes down. Painted Earth Lash Luxe mascara Painted Earth Lash Lux mascara Painted Earth rubber brush Painted Earth rubber brush I saved the best eye product for last. I’m crazy about their SuperWear Gel Liner pencil ($18.50). I’ve bought gel eyeliner pencils from much more expensive brands and was never that impressed. But Painted Earth changed my mind. This pencil glides on like a gel liner but is easier to use. I have Noir and the color is a rich dark black. It’s so smooth that I can’t get over it. It’s absolutely glides on. It comes in 5 shades (Noir black, Baroque golden with a green under tone with specks of subtle shimmer, Mystic grey with undertones of blue and specks of subtle shimmer, Sienna dark brown and Florentine which appears to be a reddish brown). The wear I get with this pencil is amazing and it makes me want all the shades. It contains vitamin e and jojoba oil to help give a soft and smooth application. It stays on until I want it to come off. They are only $3 each and come in the best flavors. These are similar to a chapstick type product; they don’t add color but they add great moisturizing to your lips. Look at these yummy flavors: Amaretto (L.E.), Cucumber Melon (their best seller), Dill Pickle (L.E.), Mango, Natural Vanilla, Pina Colada, Pizza (L.E.), Red Delicious Apple (L.E.), and Sugared Strawberry. I don’t know if I want pizza or dill pickle flavored lip balms but I do know that the Pina Colada, Juicy Peach (a yummy L.E. that’s gone) and Amaretto are terrific. I love that they call these Lips Stuff. Painted Earth Natural Lip Balm Painted Earth Natural Lip Balm Juicy Peach Juicy Peach Painted Earth has the type of website that you can get lost in. There are so many amazing products that are all pure, natural, organic, non-animal tested and safe that you’ll go nuts examining the site. Their products are produced in the US so you can be proud of buying American. They always have free shipping (YEA!!!) plus they have a Deal of the Day (and sometimes several) that are some of their best sellers. Their tagline is Cosmetics from Nature and I think that says it all. — Marcia *products sent for review consideration
